Boss Friendship Club lauds Governor Aregbesola’s Developmental Strides

The sterling performance of the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has been described as a worthy contribution towards the sustenance and promotion of democracy in Nigeria.

District Governor of BOSS Friendship Club in Nigeria, Dr. Edet Ekpeyong, stated this while decorating Aregbesola with an award of Good Governance as the ‘All-Round Best Performed Governor in the South-West Nigeria 2013’.

Ekpeyong, who said the award was aimed at encouraging Nigerian leaders to give Good Governance and outstanding leadership to Nigerians with a view to sustaining development in the country, said the administration of Aregbesola has impacted meaningfully on the lives of the people of the state.

He, thereafter, urged the people of the state to support the present administration in the forthcoming August 9 gubernatorial election in the state in order to be able to complete all ongoing projects in the state.

Responding, Aregbesola appreciated the club for the award, describing it as a morale boost to his administration.

Represented by his Deputy, Otumba (Mrs.) Grace Titilayo Laoye-Tomori, the Governor said brilliant  ideas of his administration has repositioned the state as a haven of economic development.

He said his administration would not rest on its oars until the glory of the state is restored as the cradle of Yoruba race.
